I used to be shit at Touhou, usually couldn't get past stage 3 on Normal without using continues. Then suddenly, I got three 1ccs in three days, and have now done that for all Windows games expect SA. That was pretty strange.

I won't deny it. I have problems surviving on Hard and above, as well as in Extra stages. These games are really deep in how you can spend months playing then and still not have achieved nearly everything (like Lunatic no bombs/deaths runs).

I can beat all the 2hus on easy without much trouble, even on a bad day, but I end up using a continue usually late in stage 4 on normal...

Haven't managed to 1cc any of the games on normal yet. It's mostly that I struggle with the controls. I can react fast enough, but it usually ends in me 'reacting' right into the path of the bullet I intended to avoid.

minesweep requires guessing, after the first few guesses there's a chance you can get to the end entirely safely by being methodical.. but sometimes you will end up almost complete but still requiring to make guesses that could kill you..
