>Annalisa Barbieri is a Guardian columnist and also writes for the Economist's Intelligent Life magazine, the New Statesman and the Independent. A former contributing editor of the Independent on Sunday and fishing correspondent of the Independent, she is also patron of Rights of Women

Thank you The Guardian for letting me know which writers to ignore like this.

What the fuck kind of advice column is this? She just asked more questions, and something tells me she's not going to follow this up.

She isn't all bad.

Do any parents honestly believe that, though? I always hear it applied to other people ("Oh, they should just throw him out!"), never to their own kids.

Maybe if the writer's son was abusive or addicted to drugs or something, but I don't think that's a common argument said by normal people.

Then again, I don't know what the normal approach is. In Japan they buy you a flat to protect their pride or whatever. I can't see that happening in the UK.

>> No.11043555

The UK are worms that spread the disease and rot they live on, everyone in the rest of the world should boycott them completely.

Just give her dick and it'll be fine. She's worried about herself more than her son.
I hate people so fucking much.

Man, that sounds so eerily like me, its almost like my Mum wrote that letter but lied a bit to conceal my identity.

What's wrong with not drinking or taking drugs? What's wrong with reading and enjoying media on your own? She is imposing her bullshit standards on her child, and I hate the rest of society for condoning that kind of behavior.

Why can't they just reason with each other and understand their motives?

I'm glad she's not going overboard ("My son is a NEET I have failed as a mother I wish he was dead waahhh!") but people like this really need to learn it's one of the risks you take when having a child. Can't handle having a son who doesn't fit the status quo? Then don't have kids.

This. My Mum encourages me to go out drinking and maybe smoke some weed, and that I should be be like my whorish 14 year old sister who goes out and gets drunk. In Britain, this is what is considered normal, "healthy" behaviour. I do drink as a fuck-you to her though, I just drink alone in my room. But most of the concern over shut-ins is that they don't have the same interests as normalfags, and the normalfags feel the need to force them too. It happens to me all the time.

>> No.11043665

>>11043638
Tell me honestly, is Britain really like that? I've always had this silly, idealized image of the place. I imagine them as refined intellectuals who prioritize education and etiquette. I guess I was totally wrong.

If the reason you have kids is to pass down your legacy, that sort of throws a wrench in your plans.

Hey >>2, do you know what happed? Oh, by the way, this is nothing to do with
this thread. I went to Yoshinoya the other day. YOSHINOYA! And there were
so crowded and I couldn't even find a place to sit. Then, I found the
advertising saying 「150 yen off!.」 My goodness! How come you are all coming,
and sitting at Yoshinoya for just 「150 yen off?」 I saw a familie, like four
of them with their kids. This guy's saying 「All right, your dad is ordering
an extra large bowl.」 What a pathetic! Hey you bastards. I can give my 150
yen. So, just give me a break alright? Yoshinoya should be a place where
people are fighting, like two jerks facing on each other against 「U shaped
table,」 then one of them can be stubbed to death by any chance. This is how
Yoshinoya's suppose to. This ain't a place for no woman and no kid. Alright,
I finally found a place to sit. Then, the jerk next to me was ordering a
large size with putting extra juice on it. That pissed me off once again.
Hey jerk, we ain't order 「putting extra juice on a bowl」 no more today!
What a stupid you looked: ordering extra juice with his goofy face! Do you
really want to eat a beef bawl with extra juice on it? I really want to ask
you, interrogating you for an hour. Don't you just want to say 「an extra
juice!?」 As a professional Yoshinoya customer, I would rather order 「extra
scallions.」 This is the coolest way. You get more scallions, and less beefs.
This is it! It can be the best, if you put a raw egg on it. No one can beat
this. But you have to be careful because if you order this way, the Yoshinoya
employees gonna put you on their black lists. This can be so dangerous,
like a risk of fighting with a double edged blade. So, I don't recommend
the beginners to do this... >>2, you'd rather ordering some ordinary set menu
instead.

they call themselves "great britain," as an official part of the name of the place. No other country does that. There are some places that go out of their way officially to call themselves "democratic" though, basically because they aren't so very democratic in actual practice.

Do the math.
