[Witches' Thread (calling (...) No.]

I'm a Witch!

Are there any other Witches here?

I'm not talking about the Wiccan/Gardnerian 'neo-pagans'; many of their followers simply took up their 'craft' or coven since it was the newest, trendiest thing in their community; a stand-in replacement for their previous religion or Sunday church service.

Pardon my negativity, but I've encountered this far more often than not, and say this in an attempt to invite those of us who are taking up the Craft for the wrong reasons, to look into their motives and determine the true cause of the problem.

I practice the Old Craft - solo, at that. Most people who know me would never have guessed, as I do not do not evangelize nor laud to those around me, and keep my writings unpublicized. In my daily interactions with people, I do my best to share my knowledge and apply the results of my research from a neutral but helpful point of view.

For a bit of pondering - what kind of Witch do you think Marisa is?

To me, she certainly does not seem Wiccan, nor polarized (e.g. white/good witch or black/evil witch). Having come from being an ordinary, powerless human, Marisa is self-motivated and disciplined enough to have brought herself to the level she is at. She is remarkably forward in her way of doing things, yet her motives remain unclear to me. Confusingly, she once sought a way to become immortal, but passed up the chance when it was offered to her once.

one thing to note about real witches - they're usually DTF if you're cool or even relatively ordinary.
