I hope it is. I thought 13 would be because PoFV came after 3 windows games. Now we'll have 5 consecutive regular danmaku games and no Phantasmagoria, I'm sad.

I know a lot of you hate it but it's the only Touhou game you can actually play with fellow shooting fans apart from disputing scores. It was also a lot of fun to play with human opponents, we spent hours killing each other in it. Great stuff indeed.

I'd be satisfied with that or if ZUN made the next game with coop in mind, each double with their own dialogues. Anything that would include multiplayer in the shooting games, really.

It's because of the photo taking games. They serve the purpose of having multiple characters. IF you just want pvp, play the fighters.

PoFV and StB came around the same time, one after the other. I just expected the same to happen with DS and another Phantasmagoria.

I dislike the fighters. Can't play them, and the same goes for my friends that I used to play PoFV with. We just want to play a shooting game together, that's all.

I hope it's a whole number expansion for HM that adds the full cast of SWR and Soku to it.
And adds high/low that doesn't give the defender five mistakes before something actually bad happens. Or at least throws. Optimally both.
But really I just wanna play Okuu and Komachi again, goddamn.

I love Phantasmagoria games so very much. I play them with everyone I invite over for tea. I downloaded a fan-expansion for PoFV called Phantasmagoria of Flower View x, or TH 9.x, and it adds the playable Youkai characters from IN, along with Sanae and Hatate. They also changed the music to arranges, made the stages a bit flashier, and fiddled with the balance a bit. For instance, Shikieiki's giant fuckoff laser now shoots really fast instead of taking forever to charge. Let me tell you, that took me by surprise the first time around.
