I installed the font that came in the same directory with it. Sorry I'm 10 years too late for this game but I imagine this is a fixable issue.

The font itself is fine, that's one of those jap gothic fonts.

Had it happen on multiple different machines and/or installs of windows 7, looks the same in linux through wine, I've downloaded the one from fuwanovel and animebytes, both same. I don't know what to do.

run the font

Thank you, had to delete the old ones in that directory and move that over, not just replace them totally. It works, thanks.
