Because licenses for kusoge are cheap to get. The companies are more than glad to get a few bucks out of a title which didn't make much in the home market. Also, a lot of the better nukige have pretty questionable content, from a moral view point. Many makers are afriad to create a second RapeLay scandal hence they refuse oversee licensing.

It does get gradually better, though. Stuff like Imouto Paradise isn't quite the same crap they release at the moment. Let's hope it's a good omen for the future.

Little Busters! EX and CLANNAD are my favourite VNs. In LB!EX, the bus-rescue part was so tense for me! I especially loved the common route, as it kept me entertained with the light heartedness, and reminded me of my own school days. Haruka, Sasami and Rin's routes I felt a strong connection with, especially Sasami's since I, too,0 suffered from the death of a loved cat at around that age. I think Rin and Riki make a good couple, though!

I read that a year ago or so. Dropped it somewhere in the middle of the class rep route. The tasks became ridiculously difficult at some point, at least for me. I have to finish Aku no Onna Kanbu some day. (I started it in September, but had to leave the internet until now.) The thing is, I like the queen. She's easily the most awesome character in the game. Which makes me unwilling to get her ending, because I'm sure it includes rape (albeit light-hearted), or anyone else's (because it will probably mean deposing her in favor of a less interesting character).

So I just got through my first route on this one and I have to say that as much as I do like dark stuff I actually felt bad going through this.

I think I actually made a thread about this a year or two ago. Now that I've played more stuff myself I can agree with what was said then:

-voice acting
-Story might actually help you connect with the character (in a good way if they're likable or hate rape kind of way if they're huge bitches that deserve it) and make the H doubly juicy for that reason alone. There is also the matter of the heroines acting as "prizes" and some people also get a feeling of satisfaction for their "work".
-At least training sims or games with many choices make you feel part of the scene more.
-Also like doujins, text can also make the player more horny. I personally like when the girl's thoughts are narrated a lot.

Even with 3D stuff I've noticed myself longing for something "more" than just animated scenes. Artificial Academy could have been vastly improved if it had f.ex. included character dates and more dialogue / interaction in general, even if it had meant reducing the number of VAs in my opinion. I also really liked the random dialogue you get to have with your maids in Custom Maid 3D. Fleshes them out from the otherwise blank dolls.

Perhaps it's one of the reasons I've never been able to get into 3D Custom Girl despite the huge amount of possibilities provided by the modding community.

There's a lot of translated nukige out there. It's cheap to produce, easy to translate, and enough people buy it to keep the market going. Most of the titles by Jast and MangaGamer are nukige.

The titles are all you need to identify what the story is about, I wouldn't call any of them very quality nukige though. The best nukige don't seem to get translations.

Before I learned moon I would just choose all the first choices, then start over and choose all the second choices, then start over and choose the first, then second, then first, and so on. If there were still scenes I was missing I would reverse that order starting with the second choice. Then if I STILL wanted scenes I would download a save file.
