You're talking about anime.

This stuff here is touhou, 3D idols, and other assorted shit. I don't understand why people like 3D idols to the point where they do. But what I think you're mainly referring to is the touhou stuff. Touhou is a little shooter game similar to asteroids only with magical girls and much more content. However you're seeing the _very_ extremist community behind it. After the janitor comes by and deletes everything, most of the time all that's left is the touhou fan threads (often just imagedumps of one character) and 3D idol threads. These are very understandable if you don't like them.

However, have you tried watching anime? You know what don't, just go get a life before it's too lte.

One hobby of mine is options trading. I enjoy the intellectual stimulation, the competition, the constant need to learn and adapt, the need to follow geopolitical events, and the ability to make money doing it.

I also mountain bike. I enjoy the adrenalin rush, the physical challenge, etc.

If you are of the school of thought that man's sole dive in life should be to maximize personal pleasure, and this stuff gives you pleasure, then I can understand that. But I want to understand why it gives you pleasure. And why you think it gives you more pleasure than having am exciting career, friends, and family would.
