Well, she may sounds unconvenient to use, but she's pretty strong actually, also it's hard to finish ammo before the end of the fight, even if waiting for the timer. I just did some matches only spaming ranged and finished the match having around 140 ammo left.

Kicks has way too much active frames

Good Hitboxes on B normals and Dash Normals

I'd even go far to say that Nitori Tao Ys are the overall best bullet normal in the game

Apparently some fans were complaining there isn't enough fanservice, so Tasofro announced they're working on a patch which allows the outfits to be damaged during the fight.

How does it feel for the other person when somebody is using 1/2 drawing rate? I don't want to join people and disturb them if it's going to cause massive lag on their end.

I don't get any framedrops when I use it, but it's the only way that I can actually play the full release. Even though the demo ran just fine, I'm having horrible stutter problems since 1.02.

If you're hosting, you have to make sure the port you have selected is open. To do that, follow instructions in >>10964381 which has you accessing your router via browser and giving the port you want to use clearance. In this case, opening ports 10800 through 10800 will suffice.

If somehow the IP that Google tells you to use + your newly opened port still doesn't work, maybe get your friend to try hosting using the same methods and see if it works.

I find that she starts of pretty weak, but her options start opening up after she gets to black plates. Her speed is definitely a major asset and her tornado is pretty useful. In terms of specials, her fireball is more or less her most reliable option and the water pillars are good in corner. Her arrows should be effective for pressuring once they gain spread, but I don't seem to be able to land them very often. Can't really comment on her boat and her earth pillar since I don't really use them much.

Overall, I find that she's sort of like a faster Alice, but with weaker overall pressure.

I started playing Reimu as a first character and read up on the combos.
I can't for the life of me link anything after 4flash kick. I see 966 into 66a as the linker and assume I'm just supposed to jump forward and dash as soon as possible, but it just isn't linking. Am I supposed to cancel
the flash kick sooner with something? Doing short and shitty combos is actually frustrating.

That's not what I meant. You can block all you want, they'll still deal damage if you're caught off when a fireball blows past them, an arrow bounces off, or if you teleport to them. I'd count those attacks as an extension of the initial plate setting. Since it uses them as a relay, of sorts. Though, you could see it differently.

So, I was testing the game in my shitty PC and it looks like it runs way faster when the backgrounds are set in Mid. Low run as slow as High. Why the fuck?

Also, why does this game need so much power? I can play my porn games and things like TF2 just fine in this PC. The hit sparks REALLY slow down the game.

If you get to the limit with a wallbounce or 5A as the ender, the opponent can no longer tech to the side, and will wake up in place when the dizzy wears off.

At that point you can do some kind of delayed or large radius bullet and continue pressure from there. If the opponent presses buttons, you get a reset because the bullet hits them. If somebody tries to move out of the way by going up-back or something, your next move will hit them out of it if it's long enough range.

The main problem I have with this is that if you used all your spirit doing the combo or getting in, this doesn't work too well. I guess if you're using buddhism you can do a charge attack instead of a bullet and be at + if they block, and get a reset if you hit them. The problem with that is if the opponent is doing something invincible, you're kind of screwed.

Does anyone have anything to add here?

Man, that was my first time fighting a good Nitori and she is terrifying. It's like Tasofro decided to make Marisa and Sakuya from iamp into one character. Safeish pressure with buttons that lead into high damage from anything.

Despite that, those were some great games. That was honestly the most fun I've had with a fighter since I started playing iamp 5-6 years ago. Let's play again sometime!

Yeah, Nitori isn't quite Reimu level, but she's really strong. I wasn't even doing the full version of the loop since my execution is awful. The only real problem she seems to have besides her mediocre neutral is staying below 100%, since for some reason using your LW will put you at a disadvantage in popularity. The round I won with it was the first round I've actually won where I hit 100%. I guess Tasofro wants people to stall and win on timeout instead of going for 100%.

And I really need to get out of the habit of doing 6[6]A 5Y in neutral, because it clearly doesn't work very often.

is there a damage penalty for declaring mid combo? I was messing around with default byakuren in training mode

autocombo -> 6B -> laser(6Z?) dizzies, and I have enough time to declare and then do the knife toss super, but it only does 3.3k total. If I have the knife toss super declared beforehand, it does 4.8K+ instead and that's the only thing I can think of

Anyone have any Ichirin tips? I really want to learn to play her, but she always feels really bulky when it comes to her specials, to the point where I gave up on using any aside from 4fist which I only used to punish or if I managed to connect with an 8B since 8B>2B>4fist was the only limit combo I managed to discover.

Which direction was the grab for the corner combo? It doesn't seem to work with since the final 5B pushes them too far up for the 6Grab to catch them.
Replacing the final 5B with a 6B chains fine into a 6Grab however, and it seems like it does more damage, although that and my first issue may just be due to playing Buddhist Ichirin, that's definitely a possibility.

Just do practice mode and get combos you are comfortable with that do good damage.

Then just do random matches with people to get a feel of how actual matches play and see how you can execute the stuff you learned in practice mode.

The only real way to get better is just to keep constantly playing people and trying to learn new stuff in practice mode.

If you want to use any skill, you have to prepare charges for it first. Press a combination of arrow and C or Z key (by default, that's C and D on keyboard) to prepare charges, and then the same combination again to use them. You can only keep charges for one skill at a time. It'd be best if you went to profile screen and made some card sets of your own.
