I didn't see a fig thread going in in all 10 pages. Here is a limited edition animu figure released to America by an American figure company back in 2002. They ussually sell for a lot more and are very underrated. The quality is good. Just picked it up from a comic store with under priced sales. I also have the Tenchi Muyo fug collection too.

I remember getting so excited when MacFarlane Toys started doing a line of anime figures.

It's amazing how far we've come since then in terms of quality. For the time period, that was a decent figure, although technically an action figure and not a PVC, I believe.

I can only seem to buy figures through amazon or ebay. Either way I will always run a high risk of being ripped off by buying into fake merchandise. I went to a convention about two months ago and there were figures galore. Too bad that I didn't bring any hard cash on me else I could have easily spent a bout $200 on at least 3 nice ones.

How offten can you go buy figures at a local conventions, /jp/? For me there is only one convention every year in my city for 3 days only.

It costs $35 for a day pass or $50 for a three day pass. Shit is ridiculous.

Got my hands on two adorable figures from the Yotsuba and Monochrome Animals series (namely, her with marmoset and with tapir), plus the recent Kotobikuya non-scale kit.
Really excited to build it, looks as though it could use a little work even though decals are included for two blank faces (you pick/paint your favorite expression, how great!). Saddened that Dularamin didn't get any painted details...

The first convention I ever went to I managed to score a 1/7 Yuuma (Majipoka) figure for 23 bucks on the last day. Most are incredibly overpriced, but if you have a good eye you can probably find some good deals, decent at least. The biggest problem is that all the vendors usually only have Nendoroids and Figma, which I don't care for in the slightest. Those also happen to be the most commonly bootlegged items it seems.
