No, the previous magazine, Birz, screwed over them so badly that the authors went "Fuck you", gave it a disappointing ending (with the bunny saying things were not over yet), and went with another house. Turns out the editor for Birz lost the previous manuscript AND Birz wanted to get the rights for Rozen Maiden.
