Technically it is "poop" as Google translates, but, just imagine how much more retarded "poop" would sound as an English translation in-game. "Shit" is a much better choice. "Crap" could also work, but again sounds kinda gay to an English audience.

In the end it is the translator's choice and shit gets lost in translation. But also in the end, ふん does mean shit.
