The Hobbit is a good read, but don't forget to stop a third of the way through so as not to spoil the movie. You can read the rest later.

>> No.10904167

read Grendel by John Gardner and Youth In Revolt and Revolting Youth by C.D. Payne. The former is funny and about /jp/ and the latter are funny and not about /jp/. The latter also got really shitty movie a adaptation which made me pretty mad.
Everything Is Illuminated is good too. It also got a shitty movie adaptation but at least it had a good soundtrack.
Kurt Vonnegut books are also funny, and are pretty easy reads.

I kind of miss reading. Maybe I should take high school again or something. can you even do that?
