Any Germanbros that have any experiences with importing via registered SAL?

Wondering how long it would take and if an upgrade to EMS would make much sense.

Bislang immer mit fed ex priority importiert, kostet natürlich, ist aber superschnell(3-4 Tage).

not german, but i live in europe
for me SAL takes 1-2 weeks and EMS takes 2-3 days,
add 1-2 more days if they get stuck in customs
