Look, this isn't shoehorning something into the "boundaries" to make a point. Everyone has boundaries with their abilities, regardless of Yukari's powers. I can jump hurdles but there's a boundary when the hurdles are too high. For someone as powerful as Yukari, and given that a lot of youkai traditionally helped/hindered humans, I think her making it so I can or can't jump over certain hurdles would be trivial.
If Yukari is so powerful she can manipulate day and night on a massive scale, I'm sure she can affect to what extent one person's abilities work.
