>tfw your highschool crush dates an uglier person than you for the last six years

I'm glad she's happy.

>tfw
Please, stop this. Please.

Why?

>> No.10893885

What's the difference between tfw and mfw?

>> No.10893888

>>10893885
I think tfw also expects to draw in people who agree that they had tf during a past experience. Whereas mfw is just the poster saying that he had an f sometime.

Or something.

that feel when
my face when
I think

>> No.10893899

>>10893896
Isn't that the same thing? I mean, you can't make any reaction without feeling something.

>> No.10893905

>>10893899
"My face when" means the picture you attached is how you felt when x happened.
"That feel when" is just a "Anyone else know that feeling?"

>>10893899

WOAH this guy is smart o_O

>> No.10893911

Is it "that feel when" "my feel when" or is it "that face when" "my face when"?. And what's the difference between X and X and Y and Y?

>> No.10893914

>>10893905
What if you attach a picture to "that feel when" instead of "my face when"? Does the feeling become an instant reaction, or conversely, the reaction becomes a feeling?

>> No.10893916

>>10893911
I thought it was "their faces when" until this thread.

>> No.10893924

>>10893916
That means the OP seeks retaliation or sympathy for a certain party, right?

>> No.10893939

>>10893911
It's "that feel" and "my face". TFW usually only follows an image suggesting depressing/lonely feelings. MFW refers to a reaction, though I remember it being used without an image for a long time.

>>10893916
It used to be "their faces when" back when "my face when" was hugely popular. And then "feels" became the norm. I admit, I was a little confused at first. Sorry if I sound like a "crossboarder".

-->shrek-texting

I do not abhor meme texting because it is an efficient way to clearly and concisely state something. But please do not abuse the quote function. Why not use some funky arrows instead? Or maybe an dash?

>> No.10893950

>>10893939
What about "that feelerino when", how is that different from "that feel when"?

>> No.10893955

>>10893950
I don't know. I'm not very hip to the skip nowadays. I can only guess that it's a corruption of TFW.

>> No.10893953

>>10893885

"tfw" is used to express emotion. "mfw" is just to show what face you had and implies an emotion.

It was originally from krautchan /int/, but then some fag spammed that feel all over /jp/ until everyone liked it. Then it spread to other boards, and later to the rest of the internet.
