I don't know, there are certainly otaku who end up committing suicide, but I think we need to look at the definition of otaku to find the right answer. We'll approach the question with an assumption that for something to be considered ``otaku culture'', it has to be directly linked to otaku and their lifestyle.

Otaku - a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly (but not limited to) anime and manga. If we adhere to this definition, we'll be able to find a potential link between suicide and otaku culture. We already established that there are otaku who kill themselves, so we can also assume that there are those who become obsessed with suicide, which makes those people suicide otaku.

And so we conclude that suicide is otaku culture.
