Type ipconfig into a terminal. Copy/paste the first result under "default gateway" into your web-browser's address bar, go into the router's settings and change one number or letter of the MAC address, click OK and wait.

If you're on linux you most likely would already know your router's IP address.

Feelio when most British ISPs assign dynamic IP addresses by default.

If you're using Sky or TalkTalk or some shiznizzle, you might need to open your router configuration file and set it to use regular PPPoE instead of MER. Then every time you connect, you'll get a new IP address, instead of one tied to your router's MAC address.
