Who's the gaffer of Gensokyo?

For those of you who may not be Hobbit otaku such as myself, gaffer is a word that is used in common Hobbit speech to describe a wise male elder in the community.

/jp/ should be 25+.

I know it's a pretty artificial limit and generally speaking there isn't a huge difference between a 20-year-old and a 25-year-old, but it would at least create pressure to act grown up (but not in an "acting grown up" kind of way).

Kind of like that one forum you have to pay for, even though idiots and actual children can easily pay for it.

I'm 25. I wish I could sustain myself without a job. You are terribly lucky to live in a welfare country to afford that, and you most likely do not even realize it in the slightest. Don't be a fucking jerk towards the less fortunate /jp/sies, please!

Remember: it's what you say, not who you are. And frankly both "I JUST WENT TO DA CLUB WITH MY GF" socialites and ">tfw no gf GET OUT RELATIONSHIPFAGS" /r9k/ers are annoying in their own way. Let's take it easy and not have it either way.

That's not an /r9k/ mindset though.

The /jp/ mindset on sex and relationships has always been one that resembles something more like celibacy or the intentional social isolation that some types of monks may choose.

That's why there's a distinct lack of loneliness whining on /jp/ in comparison to boards like /r9k/ where they believe that sexual relationships are the key to their happiness and they would gladly have sex with anyone if given the option.

Why would you have lived a perfectly ordinary life for your first 20 years? That would make you a failed and/or extraordinary selfish neuronormie.

The only thing I dislike is when 'coolio' people enjoy the fantasies created by societal losers who are going to die alone with no-one to ever care for them.

When I think that there are probably coolio people fapping to the masterful h-manga created by such people, I must say I get angry.

I wish there was a way to stop coolio people from enjoying these things. You should not be able to choose both.

That was the catholic church, they killed about 68 million bible believers in the past 1500 years as well.
If they could, they would kill more of us.
And don't forget, the catholic church still has huge influence in Japan, just remember all the animus with all those catholic elements added.
It's not just just interest by mangaka, etc. but also catholic influence on Japan.

> Is there a demand for computer science doctors?
I think it must depend on the topic of research. The one I want to do is certainly useful, but it also must be among the most popular ones as well, so there must be many other graduates!
I was just thinking that maybe there is some sort of common thing in academia that people older than N or having less than M articles are considered as unfitting and get their applications refused regardless of their will to do study, work and self-improve.
