Never puked in the hundreds of times I have done shrooms except when I actually picked them out of the cow shit and ate them raw and juicy.

When you get them properly dried and cured they're pretty innocuous. They just taste like dirt and the flavor is super easy to disguise. I used to stick 'em on pizza.

Well I cooked ("cured") them like you're supposed to and everything, and at the end of the experience when I was peeling myself up off the carpet, I found myself covered in blood and vomit. The blood can be explained by the fall, the vomit I blame on the mushrooms.

And yes, they did make me feel nauseous even before they kicked in.

Trip was a tedious shitty experience as well, I couldn't in good conscience ever recommend it to anyone, even if it wasn't still dangerous because of careless/unscrupulous suppliers.

Which psys are you talking about? Tachycardia isn't going to be an issue unless you're taking huge amounts of something like 2C-T-7, bromo-dragonfly, or an nBOME, and you'd probably have a seizure first anyway. But most psychedelics, like LSD, most tryptamines (mushrooms, DMT, etc.), and phenethylamines (mescaline, 2C-X series) are quite safe, when dosed properly. Of course if you take too much, bad things happen, but that's an inherent property of EVERYTHING.

They are great, as long as you have the right mindset, and if it is your first time you should have a sober sitter. They are incredibly safe, overdose is almost unheard of ever despite widespread worldwide use and legality in some areas. If you have a positive mood and outlook, and are in a setting you are happy and comfortable in, you will have a wonderful experience. If you are depressed, have suicidal thoughts, are in a negative mood or have a pessimistic attitude, you are better off waiting until the time is right. "Set and setting" are 90% of a psychedelic experience. You definitely get out of it what you bring to the experience. I would say a low-moderate dose of cubes is one of the best introductory psychedelics. LSD, despite rumors and reputation, is also overall very gentle among the psychedelics especially at low doeses and is another good beginner's psych.

One minute I was fine, the next everything in the world was going into hyperspace. My vision moved at sonic speed, I was almost going blind from the lights. I walked down a hallway and it felt like I was stepping through several dimensions with each inch. So then I fell into a daze for a long time, and in the middle of this horrible trip a girl's voice came into my head and said "if you can hear this, I love you" and suddenly the whole room went really bright, the wall disappeared and became a rainbow, my friend next to me looked like the kindest person I've ever met, I browsed /jp/ on my phone and all the letters in every post were rainbow coloured and shiny. The bed I was sitting on started melting and turning into stars and lovehearts which was kind of scary at first but when I accepted it, it was fine.

The hardest part was the 4 months later when I was dealing with my reality being shattered so hard so suddenly. But then one day it just passed and I was cool with it. What I mean to say is -- if you have low self-esteem and anxiety issues like the average truNEET, psychedelics WILL give you a bad trip. When you're already introverted as hell, taking substances to make you MORE introverted will inevitably lead you down that path. But you CAN fight through it. Just don't take any information at face-value, only you can know yourself.

Thanks for the reply. I am a newbie cannabis smoker and I have had two negative experiences so far, during which I managed to handle myself well. Once was when I already had caffeine in my body. It felt like I had a large snake writhing in my torso for a few hours, but it turned out alright. 1. I can hop into bed with my head spinning and hope that I will not puke in the bed while sleeping. If I:

Your story sounds realistic and believable. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Psychedelics are "safe", but to a young and/or unprepared mind they can wreak havoc on your psyche, your personality, your perception of the world.

This is why the taboo of psychedelics, and recreational drugs as a whole, needs to be broken. When people are properly educated about the effects of these substances, many who would otherwise try them out of curiosity may instead decide not to. Those who do decide to use them will be equipped with the knowledge to dose and use them responsibly and cautiously. Like I said in a post above, set and setting can be 90% of a psychedelic experience. People who are depressed, have predominantly negative thoughts or pessimistic outlooks, should think carefully before choosing to use them.

I have been introverted and depressed the last year or two, so I have not used psychedelics for a while. They are not a magic cure for whatever woes ail you. You should already be in the right mental place when you decide to partake.

And yes I am a "drug nerd" and yes I am just picking random pictures.

It's worth mentioning that I do drink occasionally, despite admitting all those uncomfortable truths about alcohol. I enjoy cannabis much more though, and like you say, it is pretty much impossible to "overdo it" so much that you feel bad the next day, which is of course easy with alcohol. I have definitely gotten "TOO HIGH" before, but I have never experienced lasting negative effects, of more than a couple hours at the most. There is no such thing as a weed hangover.

I can't even describe how unbelievably negative my trip was at the start. When I closed my eyes, I slept for like 100 years and had some weird monkey guy come over to me and tell me that "tripping" isn't even real, drugs aren't real, it was all a big scam and my life is a dream invented by God to fuck around and amuse himself with, that all the people in the world who claimed to "trip" were just NPCs lying to me to eventually lead me up to that point....insane? Yeah, in that moment right then I genuinely did think I'd gone insane, unlocked the terrible secret of my life and was never gonna be normal again. But hey.

The annoying thing is that the rest of my trip after the awful beginning was completely beautiful, rainbows and spirals everywhere, everyone I met seemed so kind and idyllic. But that bad first part overshadows the rest in my memory. It was SO horrible...bleh. Set and setting, though. This all occurred at a house my friend brought me to, where I didn't know anyone, and my thoughts immediately before taking the drug were "no one here likes me, they all think I'm weird". So I guess it makes sense what happened.

I do want to try psychedelics again, but not for a long time and only if I ever meet someone I can really trust to do it with...

I have used both and it is impossible to say, really, but both are good choices provided you have a good mindset, setting, and know what you're getting into, start with the lowest possible effective dose because EVERYONE reacts to drugs differently. Mushrooms were my first. Some people say mushrooms are a little "crazier" and less predictable than LSD, probably because your LSD is hopefully pure (in the US and Europe, in the last 5-10 years increasing amounts of NBOMEs and other synthetics are being passed off as LSD, though), wheras mushrooms may contain small amounts of other active alkaloids besides psyloc(yb)in that affect the trip, and are harder to dose due to varying potencies. I would say try whichever you get your hands on first and are most confident in the drug's legitimacy, purity, and accuracy of dose.

it really depends. mushrooms can make some people a little sick so i would recommend starting with lsd, but if you are buying from someone you vaguely know mushrooms would be better as RCs (specifically the NBOMes) are often sold as lsd and those are not too fun.

Also, all drugs are very easy to get on the internet on a certain deep web market. it is usually cheaper and higher quality than buying off the street, especially for NEETs who dont have good drug connections

I have known about this for a long time but have never even begun to try to do it, for legal fears, and for fears of being scammed or sold something passed off as something else (like your example of NBOME blotters which seem really common nowadays). im in the US as well. its really only risky if you are getting large amounts of things (more than 10 grams of anything) or something drug dogs smell for (pot, heroin, coke). it is very safe if you are buying something that is not coming from overseas too.

the chance that the government finds a few tiny pieces of paper in the bottom of a pack of playing cards or in a cd case is very very small, and even if they do find it they will not be able to charge you with anything as there is no evidence that you actually ordered it.

Also, look into 4-aco-dmt. it is basically mushrooms (it metabolizes into psilocin) and is currently legal.

I have a small bookshelf basically dedicated to pharmacology and chemistry of drugs, mostly psychedelics, I've read most of Shulgin's books a few times, the personal experiences parts of PIHKAL and TIHKAL are a joy to read, so many wonderous phenethylamines and tryptamines I will never get to try, some that possibly no one will ever use or synthesize again. I'm envious. Have you heard of DiPT? I've always wanted to try that one. A tryptamine with hallucinogenic effects that are almost entirely aural! I love sound and music, so that would be so interesting to experience.

If there are any effects, it is primarily by hypoxia, so you can get mostly the same effects doing that hold your breath blow on your thumb with your back against a wall thing, or inhalants. Images like this one are a clever ruse, there is no such thing as Jenkane or other Jenkanoids or whatever. You half-suffocate yourself on poop. If you try it let me know how it goes, I'll pass.
