In what ways do /jp/ers communicate with one-another besides /jp/? Twitter? Instant messenger? irc? Which groups are still active and friendly, not filled with spam, ect?

>> No.10788654

I use email.

Can you make groups on Twitter?

If not someone should make a meta-account and we all follow it, then we can follow each other.

>> No.10788660

I bet you'd love to talk to others, huh normie?

Not sure, people mentioned it in the other tread about a loli/monster outside the window and totally derailing it, so I figured I'd make it a separate thread about it

...they also mentioned this steam community as an example of something worse than twitter though to justify twitter usage...

>> No.10788672

instant messaging and social networks are for normies

This /jp/ is not /soc/ if you want that kind of thing you are in the wrong place if you can't talk about it here.

>> No.10788693

What's with the sudden social media invasion in the past week? The resident disgusting normals pretending to be /jp/sies have always had their little IRC/steam circlejerks but they used to have the decency to shut the fuck up about it on the board

Then why are there so many /jp/ers on these things?

People in the other thread said /jp/ers had organized followings in twitter

I can relate to this! It's a meme from my favorite 4chan board /jp/ :D my friends are all here too and we're going to repeat this meme because it brings us together as epic /jp/sies!!! SOOOO glad we finally got this steam group together to keep those subhuman /v/irgins away *sighs*

If that exact thread was on this board, you wouldn't bat an eyelid.

But it's not on this board, steamfriend. There is a subtle difference your neurotypemind could never grasp.

So you believe what everyone says on the internet?
Look a real /jp/ group would never call themselves /jp/. Like I said before if you want to hang out with /jp/ like get into the hobbies or groups into /jp/ things.

Beware of some groups that call themselves /jp/ they may not be /jp/ers at all but just a group of shitposters /circlejerkers.

>> No.10788775

>>10788697
What other thread? Are you creating shitposting /soc/ threads to try and get people's e-mails and create your own circlejerk?

Anyway if they do, they're rock-bottom /jp/ers, whose content isn't good enough for the board so they import /jp/ content elsewhere and add some of theirs in the mix to make it look like they're top tier contributors.

Yeah, I don't believe in this steam group. I just want a small real /jp/ community to discuss our hobbies together and be friendly together with without dealing with all the spam that floods /jp/ these days ;_;

Don't listen to them, anon. We have huge online organizations, membership in the hundreds. But we can't just let anyone in... You have to prove yourself to be true /jp/ material.

Yeah man we all have secret code names like "hotglue".

The #/jp/ IRC channel had 100+ users last time I checked, and most of them were pseudonymous posters or anonymous posters announcing which posts they had made. They are the people posting on /jp/. Deal with it.
