Does anyone know how the pilot stats in Galaxy Angel work?

Milfie has a higher affection level in the second pic, but her stats are much worse than the first pic. I don't understand how that works.

Forte has a much affection level than Ranpha but has the same stats more or less, which doesn't make sense.

Or is it just pre-assigned per mission?

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall there being two modifiers to stats; love and happiness/trust. The first is easy enough to figure out, but the latter can go up and down through no fault of your own.

Isn't it more like mood, with the portraits, and trust/love with the meter? Trust goes up with success in battle and some important choices, while mood goes up and down with most choices and plot.

Anyway, I never really looked at the stats, the game was easy enough as it is. But I think mission may have an impact on it.

Regardless, affection level and how much the Angel loves you is the most important thing later on. I remember having your chosen Angel having to do everything while the rest can barely manage as a group.

For me, Forte had to do everything.

spirit is how much of the spirit bar they have charged in combat, it's used for their special attacks.

If you are the girl's chapter, she will tear it up in combat.

If not she will be mediocre.

Unless you are on her route, then she will be good.

Nothing else seems to matter, even a full trust meter, because if you aren't constantly giving them attention they mope.

The stats didn't make much sense except in a few rare cases.
In the second game the angels are in permanent depression and you must depend on the traditional fleet to get the job done.

I think i figured out how pilot stats work.

Pilot stats are mostly dependant on the potrait color in the whale room.

Base level is green, then it goes up to yellow and pink.

Problem is that this is mostly out of your control, most of the angels will have terrible stats in the second moonlit lovers battle despite having pink mood, because of plot.

Also you don't have enough time to talk to the angels in most cases, so you can't raise their mood, and sometimes you don't get any chances to see their mood before a battle (e.g. the final battle).

From what i can tell it takes 2 positive choices to go from green to yellow, and sometimes you simply don't get enough time to talk to a particular angel twice (e.g. right after the angel wing is assembled in ML, you can only talk to each angel once except the route girl).

But there still seems to be a lot of variance involved, highest pilot stats are right after you make up with your route girl (3rd battle usually), and it's way higher than what you get in other battles even with pink mood.
