does anyone else feel like 3d threads have been multiplying lately? there are 4 on the front page right now. janny gets mad if I complain so let's just post pictures of mima. do you like mima with normal legs or ghost cloud?

It's p. dumb considering a single gravure idol thread would cover most of it, but janny won't allow it even though the images themselves aren't nsfw and the fact that idols are /jp/ material. I'm also upset with the fact there's blogshitposting sponsored by janny under the guise of language learning through a program you have to pay to have in a smart phone.

As for mima, I don't care much for her. I prefer PC-98 yuuka to be honest. She can be cute though.

Do I also have to say why I hate kikes?

This, and we're getting more & more "feels" threads.

I do not like it and I also fear that it's actually the real new generation of /jp/sies. Probably the same people browsing things like tumblr, facebook or any similar social network.

"That feel" was started on /jp/ (like, on 4chan). Search the archive if you don't believe me. We have a history of adopting foreign memes before the other boards, see also: spurdos.

>Probably the same people browsing things like tumblr, facebook or any similar social network.

And like Blogspot and Formspring, which were huge on /jp/ back in the day?

I think you need to re-evaluate what /jp/ is. You seem like the sort of person who hates memes and gets bitter at those ironic "buttowned and angery" macros instead of laughing at them. I could be wrong of course, but I see people like you all the time, and I don't get why you come here. It's obviously not the kind of message board you want it to be.

>It's obviously not the kind of message board you want it to be.

/jp/ is obviously different for different people. If you and your normie buddies want it to be an otaku version of memebase, that's fine. If truNEET McNeetington wants it to be his hikikomori image dump, that's fine. Both kinds of people, and more, clearly exist on this board. It doesn't exist "for" either of you, that's a fucking stupid idea. There is space for both, and every time you say "/jp/ is X" there will ALWAYS be someone who comes along and says "no, /jp/ is Y". It's never going to be 100% what YOU want it to be. Take from it what you like and ignore the rest. Simple.

>> No.10775266

>>10775248
But that guy really needs to have a paradigm shift. /jp/ simply isn't the kind of message board he wants, and it probably never will be. It's like saying there are too many images. We aren't themed /b/ or anything like that. Generally speaking we don't hate Facebook or 3DPD or pedophiles because that's not a part of the board. Certain people might do, but believing everyone here to be an antisocial shut-in is just ridiculous. The only thing you can reasonably expect is that people here are otaku or at least have otaku interests. Besides that, /jp/ is just a run-of-the-mill anonymous forum dedicated to a topic, with a few memes and in-jokes for good measure. That's it.

>> No.10775277

>More than 50% of /jp/'s population browses twitter regularly.
More like they 'started' to browse it. I won't start the "back in the day" talk since it's useless but I'm 100% sure that most of the (old) /jp/ users weren't browsing "popular" social networks such a this one, primaly because they wouldn't be the right place to talk about /jp/ related stuff.
Most of the time anyone who started a thread mentioning that sort of network was plainly "redirected", often with no hate and no irony, it was just not related.

>>10775211
>And like Blogspot and Formspring, which were huge on /jp/ back in the day?
Excuse me? We're definitely not taking about the same "back in the day" here.
Besides you're mistaking something, though it's kind of my fault for not being precise in the first place. I have nothing against the social networks, you do whatever you want with your life, basically /jp/ just wasn't the place where you bring that sort of stuff.

Also, I've got my share of memes and I have nothing against them, this is 4chan after all. But then again, bringing memes involving "feels, 3D and gfs" and seeing them having constantly 50~100 replies is just ringing a bell.

Also, the way you're categorizing me, and telling me what I SHOULD do, right off the bat indicates that you're probably one of the few mid-members who loves to moralize people here.
I never stated anywhere that "new guys should go" or something, I just stated that I didn't like what was becoming of /jp/, nothing more, nothing less.

Agreed. I think that goes in both directions, though. People shouldn't advertise their non-/jp/-related hobbies, but other people shouldn't get mad when it turns out some poster has a Facebook page, either.

Someone's background (including what web services they use) is irrelevant. You can have 5,000 Facebook friends, a smoking hot girlfriend, a high-paying job, and a neo-Nazi membership, I don't care. All that is relevant in terms of someone's identity is: "Is this person interested in the board's topics?"

I'm a real life Ken-sama and I blog on /jp/ regularly.

Face it, guys: this place is about as ota as my mom. No one gives a flying frick about the actual topics. I only come here to get all that misunderstood genuis out of my veins when the feelios grow strong enough to interfere with my ki.

If you want to discuss ching chong stuff, the place to do it is just around the corner. If you need to ask what it is, I'll giggle. It gets mentioned so much that even the freshest sunday lurker knows about it.
