10765178 No.10765178 [Reply] [Original]

A pandemic occurs where a virus has the ability to induce comas. The people who are naturally immune to the virus develop the ability to go into the victim's dreams and kill the virus personally.

A man finds out that he cannot die after being faced with certain death multiple times.

The main character develops psychic powers and soon the FBI finds out. The MC realizes having powers in real life isn't like comic books and is used as a lab rat.

Way too generic

I gotta watch hancock

There's a watch that makes you a God for one hour a day depending on what hour you set it to.
The main antagonist has the watch, and everyone in the real world is forced over to an alternate world where the antagonist decides on the rules of that particular hour. Nobody knows which hour it will be so everyone's constantly on edge.
I don't know, sounded good in my head.

A wizard is rapidly rewinding time outside of his fancy castle and the MC, one of his prisoners, has to go through all his traps and minions to stop him.

It's interesting. It needs constraints and a good protagonist who can do something.

Also, it's a little cliche, but you knew that already.

Nope, I didn't. What else has done something similar? I'd like to see it.

Not the concept itself, just the idea of opposition between godlike powers and people trying to find the user. Reminds me of death note. I'm not sure though, maybe you were thinking about a different direction. The "constantly on edge" part reminds me of the first episode of Battlestar Galactica.

Idea A.

Particularly if combined in some way with the rest, but it's good on its own. B and C have been done successfully before but meh.

Everyone under the age of 10 suddenly dies and anyone trying to have a child miscarries.
Eventually, one couple decides to attempt having a child despite what happened every single time someone else did, and they end up with a perfectly healthy child. Tons of other people try it thinking whatever was causing they also weren't going to miscarry, but it happens anyways. This leads the world to believe the main character, the baby, was the second coming of Jesus.

I don't understand the need for this part

having everyone on edge seems less interesting than having everyone act as if nothing's wrong, in my opinion

Alright, get this.
