Hey /jp/. I've been watching Oriemo recently, and every episode I watch, I get the biggest hardon to play visual novels, fighting games, rpgs, etc.

What do you suggest to start with in terms of these categories, as googling "visual novel" does not help.

>> No.10753223

I suggest you stop watching that shit show, and get your ass back to /a/.

I've noticed a trend with you, /jp/.

Whenever someone posts a proper /jp/ thread like this, such as asking for recommendations of non-anime otaku culture related things, you laugh at them, insult them and demand that they leave.

Whenever someone posts a stupid thread that doesn't really have any place on /jp/ such as flanfly or MIMA!, you do the same thing.

So which is it, which kind of thread do you guys want on /jp/?

Neither. My ideal /jp/ is a /jp/ without any threads. A board of nothing would be the most aesthetic.

Jesus guys, I was just asking for recommendations.

Would you go into /lit/ and say, "Hey I never read a book before, what books should I read?" I imagine not. So stop being a dick.

I've noticed a trend, /a/ssholes. You're only bothered by shitposting when it's someone else doing it on your own turf.

Yes, I would. Because they're all educated (I hope) in something I would like to immerse myself into.

You stop being a dick.

>The Visual Novel Database. VNDB.org strives to be a comprehensive database for information about visual novels.
>comprehensive database for information about visual novels.

how is this vague?

if you say you're 'new to this whole genre' even when the first link when searching "visual novel" is a wiki article then you need to kill yourself. put some fucking honest effort into at least trying to gather information yourself.
