How do manga for doujinshi get made? Do they all get sold at Comike or are there other markets out there? Has anyone here ever thought about making their own doujinshi?
I think that I might have a shot at making one.

You apply for table space at a convention. Then if you are accepted you sell your comic there. Comiket is the largest of these, although there are others.

There are also specialized shops selling doujin goods. Conventions always go first, though.

Many doujin artist works with Melonbooks after getting some credit during conventions like Comiket, i suppose Melonbooks are the ones that keep printing those with the artist permission

Now, for not japanese artist, i dont know what they do. This one is american, so i guess its just making your own way
