Hello /jp/,

I'm coming to you guys because I'm not sure where else to go to find this.

I'm writing a paper on how kawaii has become a huge part of Japan and why it has such a firm hold over Japan's culture. I'm looking for an image or piece of artwork of some kind of media that depicts kawaii in a satirical way or parodies it. Especially in a way that makes fun of the way corporations exploit it (think Pikachu, Hello Kitty, etc.). Anyone know of artwork like this?

There's a trend of drawing cute girls as muscular men, but I forgot the general name for it (this is cho_marisa).

I've also seen cute things drawn in a realistic or traditional way, but I guess that's just something a lot of people do (there was one DeviantART user who drew a lot of realistic Pokemon, and they looked scary as hell).

I would recommend you this, but sadly I am also writing a paper on satire and chose this as my primary source in order to discuss about sexual harassment and how things like love is educated so poorly to children these days, so no stealing.

Honestly the only anime I've watched are ones for the class and Miyazaki's stuff. I know little to nothing about japanese culture (before coming into the class).
