But I figured the folks of /jp/ would be interested in this. I'm running a playtest of Maid RPG today, the first japanese tabletop RPG game to be released in english two weeks from now.

The scenario will be Miko fighting cthulhu monsters in a shrine during the 1920s.

It's own system. In short, you have 6 stats, varying from 1-6. When you make a check, you roll a single six sided die and multiply the result.

Characters are created randomly using six sided dice and a few charts.

The game is very open ended, so if you roll for weapons, you can get a sword and say it's sheathed in a broom. Oh, and you can wear those japanese style maid outfits.
