well tbh, the whole point of /q/ is to provide meta discussion, and if the janitor is on, meta threads will get deleted and then shit on here

but it ignores 2 major things on top of some minor ones
1. it estranges the board from their own meta discussion and decisions and a lot of the users will also miss these discussions

2. a lot of meta threads come from derrailed threads on disagreements on what threads should be had

this doesn't help our larger userbases and continuously growing estrangement from mods and janitors as the site grows

note how every janitor /jp/ gets tends to just have their own rules instead of just looking at what our board rules are

or the old janitor whose rule was if it's a popular thread it can stay

but honestly, the whole site: rules, posters, lurkers, mods, janitors, boards, offshoot sites, etc.
all of them are keep on growing a larger gap between them

actually that's somewhat fair price, for a 1st world translator. professionals get 10-14cents per word and I'm guessing bots5 will weigh in around 250-300 pages, containing enough text to cost around 10-15K to professionally translate. judging by the sale of bots1-4.

what you should really do is find a couple of these translatorfags with a slight interest and convince them to provide a few pages translated, then after proving their quality pick one and start a kickstarter fund to cover the rest.
