Just tried playing through Custom Ai-droid. What a fucking mess. It makes me wonder what I was actually thinking playing a 3D nukige.

It has a fair amount of customization when it comes to the hair, eyes, and clothing. Most of the clothing textures look bland, though. If you decide to make a flat chested girl, whatever clothing you choose will knock up her bra cup size a few levels. You can also choose different voice/personality types (doting, tsun, stoic), but none of them stand out too much.

When not in the character creator (ie. where it counts, ero-scenes), the models look pretty bad even on the highest settings, mainly due to lighting issues. For it to look remotely decent, you have to enable blur, which lowers the frame rate by quite a bit. I can run most Teatime games at full speed, so there's no excuse as to why this game shouldn't as well. The sex animations are very stiff, choppy, and repetitive. You can set the animations to auto like most other games, but for some reason, you can't change the speed. In order to get it at the speed you want, you have to repetitively spam the shit out of the mouse button. Obviously, I want to be using my hands for other things.
All in all, it just wasn't worth it. I don't know why I bother with 3D eroge when I just end up getting disappointed.

The older illusion titles (Sexy Beach 3, Schoolmate), although I'm not sure how well they've aged. Tech48 (Teatime) was pretty good too. There's some exploration involved instead of the usual selecting maps from a menu.
