There is nothing in the story that implies Saya did it, look specifically at the whole rape scenario and their introduction.
The conincidence is needed for the story to work and it's a casual eroge, the plot is not expected to be free of holes.

Why is this VN so shit?

The setting was great, but they totally blew it. It could have been greatest love story ever told, but it just became too rushed, too predictable, too generic. If they would have spent more time on the actual relationship between saya and mc game could have been shitloads better.

It was decent. And i hate it for being decent. After reading the synopsis i already had in mind this amazing and beautiful game, with subtle horror and romance, then turns out it is all about raping people and the most predictable plotline ever made.

It wasn't bad. But i hate it so much for letting me down so hard.

I'm a fan of the hypothesis with Ougai having something to do with Fuminori's altered perception due to the surgery. I'd have to play through it again to see if it checks out though. In any case, it's pretty clear it wasn't Saya's doing.

And I mean. Those records must have been taken rather soon, probably as first procedure. If it was the case Saiya modified Fumi's brain the changes should show up in later records. But if I remember correctly, symptoms begun the very moment when he opened his eyes and I can't remember how long he had been unconscious.
