Comiket, Reitaisai, Kouroumu releases, bring 'em all here. All genres welcome.

Otaku culture right? Music is a primary expression of a culture, and a huge amount of the music at Comiket and Reiteisai and M3 are influenced by Japanese games and shows. If anything, music threads belong more in /jp/ than pictures of figurines and touhou-fumos.

Honestly I don't see anything wrong with this. If anything, it gives me a survey of all these different genres of music, and I even found a couple of new groups that I listen to from the previous thread.

Anyways my contribution, I really like how SOUND HOLIC has a ton of variety in their releases.

With the amount of 2hu remixes out there we could have weekly threads. What should determine how often these threads should be posted is the amount of reposting happening.

But yeah, it is too soon indeed.

Or is it that you can't contain your curiosity, but are too lazy to check every link that is posted?.

I think I get what you mean. I feel the same about most Cosmic Mind, and more recently, True Administrator arranges. The latter is even worse, as quite a lot of the arranges doesn't even sound remotely like True Administrator at all. And for once I'd like to hear an arrange where they use that powerful triplet-feel chorus section as the high part of the arrangement, like in the original.

Yeah, that one has it even worse.

But I wouldn't complain about arrangers not trying to follow ZUN too much. Sometimes you just need to realize you're not going to outdo the man in his own game. Some compositions are already pretty much perfect as they are, the only way to improve, or at least add to them is to reconstruct them entirely.

The opening of Poping Water, track eight on N-tone's Side material "FLOW", just ruins the whole thing for me. I'll just be sitting there minding my own business, and suddenly I'll have to take my headphones off until a few seconds have passed, the rest of the track is great.

IOSYS was never good. You're better off listening to better doujin artists. Alstroemeria Records was pretty solid until 2009 when Masayoshi Minoshima changed his style (of memories (2010) is excellent despite being a pure vocal album however).

I'm a big fan of t+pazolite's stuff, and also like quite some Innocent Key albums, and some newer IOSYS albums. I like Alstroemeria Records too, but they're not very unique in my opinion. Ironically I really like their newer stuff, mainly Killed Dancehall which was great in my opinion.

I'm looking for anything happy hardcore/trance/denpa really, although I dig most electronic genres.
