Do you ever have epic change in opinion of any touhou?
Something like:

Mine is Eirin. I used to think of Eirin as some stereotypical meth cooker, with silly hats, and that OLD MAID ALLIANCE thing.
Now she's actually hot.

Used to think her only appeal was that she and her powers were cool and flashy. She was fun to play as and against, had a great theme and boss battle, and I didn't see her as being that cute.

A LOT of characters are like that for me. Orin was my least favorite character in SA and Reisen was my least favorite in IN. I thought Orin was really ugly in particular and Playboy bunny stereotype made me automatically think of Reisen as a generic bunnygirl. Now Orin is my favorite SA character and Reisen my second favorite IN character.

I also used to find Sanae compeltely boring but then came to love her a ton, ironically for the exact opposite reason as the /jp/ slut meme. I saw her as the truly deified kind priestess that was pure as the windy breeze, at one with nature.
