Just dug through the archives, that sucks. I really don't like Kaorin or mmbk solo a fraction of what I love them together and they're by far my favorite denpa, no competition.

There's your problem. mmbk isn't a fictional character, stop lying to yourself, she's a real singer and person.

I'd understand if you're talking about some character from a VN or a Touhou, because they're 2D. But the VA voicing the character isn't, the singer who sings the OP isn't, and mmbk (an attention whore from NND) isn't either.

We usually call them "2.5D" because they act like 2D characters but they are 3D, their real life will inevitably affect their work. Clearly I can separate 2D from 3D better than you, but I also (painfully) acknowledge the fact that real people are behind the media I consume.

I'd bet you're those guys here who dislike denpa artists like MOSAIC.WAV, ave;new, Tammy, UNDER17, でんぱ組.inc or just any other artist because they show themselves as themselves and not as 2D persona. Sadly, there's nothing 2D about them besides the art of some of their CD covers and websites.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't hate mmbk, I was a big fan of hers, I just don't understand how a fan can go completely unaffected by this. If you never cared about the person herself then you never cared about mmbk.

Certainly, but her singing voice isn't her "normal" voice, she's putting on an act, the cutesy persona of mmbk =/= the real mmbk. Associating what sex she has had in reality with her singing persona is just as stupid as hating a character because of what their voice actor has done.
