When I turned 21 two years ago, I used to occasionally take trips to the beer store with pocket change and buy one bottle of beer. Eventually I started going to gas stations and buying Slurpees and other sweets instead.

I've started collecting interesting wines, meads, and sakes. I'm thinking of picking up Gekkeikan Black & Gold sake, as well as some Tozai Snow Maiden. Has anybody here tried either of them?

But most Touhous also love alcohol. It's always used for social gatherings, as Byakuren's SoPM article says. She seems to be one of the only ones that doesn't drink it.

I started drinking a lot more once the bucks came, then I started drinking too much, so I drank more to keep from worrying about it, the other day I was dry due to poor planning and realized that I've become an alcoholic somewhere along the way. It was so horrible that I'm not sure if I should get clean so it doesn't happen anymore, or just make dead sure I never spend so much as a day without something in the house.

Here's to one more compelling reason for a portal once the checks stop rolling in.
