I understand that feeling perfectly, although I don't even have my license, I've only ever done lessons.

I did about 10 or 15 and my instructor said I could drive perfectly but it's so stressful and just the thought of having to get in a car and drive stopped me from sleeping days before the lessons.

I don't even want my full license, it's pointless, cars are stupid.

Is there any slice of life car anime or manga?

Like after finishing Ichigo Mashimaro I suddenly wanted to buy a scooter because Nobue had one and riding out of town to take it easy in the countryside seemed so nice. There are also a bunch of other series that have cute girls riding scooters or motorcycles in a cute and easygoing manner, but I can't think of any that do the same with cars. Only hot-blooded stuff like Initial D.

I wonder whether if there was one it would be motivation for /jp/sies to get their licenses.

Don't know what you lot are on about. Driving is so absurdly easy that pretty much anyone can do it. Heck, once you got a little bit of experience you can pretty much just turn off your mind and coast along.

Well a car would prove useful as I can't walk all the time, especially when it's too cold and everything is so far away. But they are useless in the long run because of how much money they cost that I'll also never be able to pay for. Just gas is so high priced it would drain all of my money. I'm soon getting a learners permit just so I can get a photo ID so I at least don't need to be holding my parents hand wherever I go where I know I'll need an ID. Don't know what I'm gonna do when I can't be driven around though.

When I was doing driving lessons a couple of years back my driving instructor said the same thing

I failed the test a couple of times though because of anxiety and then sort of gave up.
