That feel when going to an otaku culture irc channel and seeing girls larping anime girls.

Seriously... why some otaku girls act like they're some moe characters? I mean, you like anime, you're anime hobbyist, but damn, you're not an anime character and you do not have to try to be like paragon of the innocent pure waifu. And oh my all the slut shaming and rant if someone doesn't behave like the pure innocent waifu in the anime scene. It's not like they're even real people with real thoughts, they just larp the stereotypes they see from anime and comment animes they watch in a way they suppose is acceptable for a cute kawaii pure otaku waifu girl. Are they even capable of rationally perceiving (metacognitively) the anime and the anime culture around them or are they just desperately trying to transform into anime girls?
