After almost 2 years of being a NEET I start work tuesday at some factory that makes fiber optic cables.

I'm really not looking forward to returning to the torment known as the working world. This will be the first time I've worked 12 hour shifts and the place is over half an hour away. But I need money because my grandma is dropping the ball lately as far as finances go.

After not going to university for four years, I have to go there and quit officially so I can get my autismbux. If I don't do it, I won't get money.

But it's so stressful. They will kick me out next month anyway, so I think I'll just wait. But then I have to reschedule my autismbux appointment. I can't take it easy under these conditions.

So next month I'll officially be a state-sponsored neet and my parents won't have to pay for me anymore. In a way, I'm proud for making it this far without killing myself.

Well, I'm working 25 hours a week @ $9 / hr and I'm putting the money to the stock market with small successes here and there. I've made about $300 in a month on the stock market with $2.5k which I think is pretty damn good considering most hedge funds go for 20% annual growth.

I literally just got a degree in Japanese so I could masturbate to cartoons. I should probably just kill myself, but until then I'm gonna live the NEET lifestyle. At first I thought the degree might give me lee-way in being allowed to NEET it up at my parents, but I'm starting to realize having it is one less excuse for not getting a job. I need to come up with something fast. I could fake mental problems, but that might make them restrict my recreational drug usage.

If you are on 4chan and want to be a neet, you don't need to fake mental illnesses. You are probably some kind of sociophobic, depressed asperger. Why don't you go looking for jobs until you find a good opportunity to make a failed suicide attempt? Go to a mental hospital, get diagnosed, get autismbux.

I go to bed when it gets dark and sleep until the sun shines. I let my sleeping rhythm be natural and calibrate itself. I very rarely am tired anymore. I don't really like the daytime though, because it is so bright and you can see how dirty your apartment is. I guess I'm torn, I like nighttime better, but I sleep through most of it.

>>10578149
What I did was download f.lux, a program that makes your monitor emit warm light when the sun sets. That way you naturally get tired. >recreational drug usage
Your what? Are you telling me that you are NEET, with a degree in Japanese, yet you waste money, time, and brain cells on drugs?

I don't need to be prude and going on some "drugs are bad m'kay" speech, but I just don't. Well. I just don't see how or why.
Shit costs money. You could use that on figurines, games, or whatever. Blu-ray anime and imports or something. If you have that Japanese degree you might as well use it.

Which brings up my other point. Drugs and literature and or games? Seriously? It devolves the experience something immensely. Plenty argues they have plenty of fun anyway, but afterwards they can't recite whatever they read/watched/played worth shit.

I guess the effects might be different from person to person, but I still can't fathom how drugs/alcohol wouldn't get in the way.
From personal experience it ruined everything. I have my few hobbies and it's most of all I have, and nothing that should have been messed with.

Why waste money on such silly material goods that you have suggested? Recreational drugs allow you to relax and a lot of them, such as weed, ecstasy and DMT, have almost no long term side effects. DMT in particular allows you to have amazing psychedelic experiences. You really can't knock these kinds of recreational drugs until you have tried them. It's not like they are going to do you any harm.

Not him but I often go days without doing it, I could go longer but I try to do it once a week so I don't have wet dreams. Sometimes I do it because I just feel like it, other times it feels scheduled but overall, other things manage to draw my attention away.

>What I did was download f.lux, a program that makes your monitor emit warm light when the sun sets. That way you naturally get tired. I get pretty tired, yes. But generally I can stay up an extra hour or two. And I feel very refreshed after sleeping. Sun goes down at 6 and I stay up until 8, sometimes 9. And it's very easy to fall asleep now, when I needed hours to fall asleep before.

Another good thing is that your sleeping schedule will always be controlled by the sun and won't shift over time.

You just have to avoid all bright, blue lights.
