Hey /jp/,

I recall there being an Akai Ito translation project in its early stages, some years ago. Do you know if there's been any progress, or even where it can be found so I can see for myself?

Also, recommend other visual novels that remove the generic Japanese schoolboy protagonist middleman and aren't nukige. I liked Aoi Shiro.

Pic unrelated, sorry, on my laptop.

A partial translation can be found in this here website, if you're really desperate to read about nosebleed-drinking scenes and little girls eating foxes. Sakuya route isn't translated, so no Onikiri no Oni for you.

/u/ has a yuri visual novel thread, you may want to check that out to see if anything's to your liking. Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun in particular has drawn quite some attention.

Thanks. I'd prefer to avoid the partial patch method of reading, though, I spoiled my Muv-Luv Alternative reading experience by reading pre-release patches. /u/ is one of those boards I just look at the pretty pictures without reading, since the arguments there are... well, it is a very easily trolled board. So I'll look, but if it's anything like their recommended fanfic thread, I doubt much will come of it. I want something deeper than just Sono Hanabira 123456.

Re: Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun, I can't read Japanese. I guess I should have specified that in the OP but I figured it was a given since I was asking about a translation (else I would've just read Akai Ito already).
