Putting aside all the other parts that are wrong, I like how no one fucking realizes that there's no nice paved road to Hakurei Shrine but an animal trail instead and the stairs only extended maybe a dozen or two meters below the tori.

It's a goddamn plot point and one of the reasons the shrine gets more Youkai than humans but pretty much no one gets it right.

ZUN is pretty fucking lazy though even Toriyama made a map of the DBZ universe, ZUN could be assed to at least whip up something for Touhou

This sort of thing always make me wonder how much ZUN has planned. I wonder if he has a "series bible" of sorts where he keeps an official map and stuff to keep things straight.

(I know he just gets drunk and makes this shit up as he goes along, but there are bound to be a few scribbles in a notepad somewhere)

Why is Hakugyokuro behind Sanzu?

It's in the fucking sky. Didn't someone even see stage 4 and 5 of PCB?

The entire forest at Youkai Mountain's base is youkai forest.

Giant Toad's Pond and Moriya shrine seem to be ignoring the mountain they're supposed to be on.

It's missing a lot of easily mapped stuff.

Atleast add some lilies on the nameless hill.

The road of Liminality can't be across Gensokyo from the road of Reconsideration.

I've actually went through about half the touhou material before to make a map like that, I got bored before I finished, but it's surprisingly coherent on a large scale.

There are some sort of light pink dots there, but it doesn't scream "endless flower garden".

Mayohiga is a bit unmappable, you can only get lost and find yourself in Mayohiga.

I've seen another map of Gensoukyou that is supposedly more aligned with canon, I'm not really sure on how legit it is though.
