Have you ever tried to leave /jp/? Why did you come back?

No but I will wander other boards now and then to freshen up.

Like, very few people on /jp/ care about Type-Moon anymore so I will go to /a/ if I want to discuss that, and sometimes I visit /tg/ to argue about liches or mythology and generally play around.

/ck/ is interesting to browse even though I never cook, and /sci/ is a nice board to ask questions that might actually get relevant answers.

I never made any attempts to leave but there was a spat of a few months during which I forgot to visit. I'm back to daily visits now though.

I left /jp/ late 2011 for an attempt at a normal life free of otaku culture after a serious depression. I came back January 2013 once I fully realized how much everyone sucks.

I left /jp/ during early 2012 because I was tired of this shithole, but I got back after some months because I was bored.

I tried to leave 4chan as a whole several times since I've been here, the longest I stayed away was 2 years. I've sweared that I never again would set foot on this godforsaken zoo for retards, but I always come back

I take several month breaks now and then when I get bored of all the shitposting and remember how eternally repetitive the board is. Then, when I come back, everything looks so nice. I always come back in a cheerful mood and repossess the ability to enjoy even the most horrendous spam.

Sometimes I leave /jp/ because I remember I'm not interested at all in Touhou or VNs or idols or kigs or stuff like that, but then I come back for the atmosphere and offtopic discussions.

This is a lot of people. I love Touhou but I haven't read much lore and the SSiB is so boring..everytime i try it's just ugh. I put touhou on top priority of things to do (games and manga), but i've barely played to the end most games, and some i just haven't played.

I'm addicted to compettiive multiplayer games and right now I'm on DotA 2 which is fucking good and stopped league. that game was so fucking bad, worst game i've seen in my and worst excuse for human beings. they're filth, below garbage, and anything ever posted on this god for saken site. maybe the only thing worse is /a/ and the shitposters and tripfags here.

I borowse /jaypee/ because I enjoy 東方 and I enjoy this user base much better than the other boards. It's slower and more comfortable. This is really the only board I browse now. I sometimes go to the Dwarf Fortress /vg/ general.

I don't care about VNs, Touhou, or buying otaku merchandise. Heck, I rarely even watch anime (I've seen everything that I've wanted to see already). I guess video games were the biggest thing in my life, and sure, when you hear something like that, it paints a picture of a very boring person, but trust me, I'm not like most people who play games. I stopped going on /v/ years ago because they don't discuss the stuff I like anymore.

But you know, now, I'm just looking to find a safe haven from all the idiocy taking over the internet because of facebook. /jp/ is one of them. 4chan used to be one as a whole, but, you know.
