Patchi can be pretty freakin' sexy sometimes, right? And cute, too.

>> No.10504145

Which flavor's better? Cute Patchy or sexy Patchy?

>> No.10504153

Patches seems really out of place in a "sexy" style. I think she's especially hard to reconcile with it because she's choinically ill, with ridiculously poor sleeping habits, rarely ever leaves the house, her hair is a mess, etc. Hell, when she does leave, she wears pajamas. It makes a jarring transition to turn that into something your average person would call "sexy" - and it definitely seems to lose something of the individual in question.

But that idea is no good. What makes her such a fun character is that she is some natural meeting place between two ideas, both of which work very well on their own, without sacrificing from either. Once you start shaping her into some sexual paradise below that, you begin to detract from both parts, and thus ruin her natural appeal.

I don't know, exactly. It's a sort of nebulous idea taken from the preferences of the masses. Certain characteristics somewhat defined, like good health, a fit body, larger breasts, prior sexual experience. These are things that a lot of people prefer a mate to have, I think. Personally, I find value in something she already has, but that's just me.

That's great - as long as you're writing for yourself, and for like-minded people.

Most people consume entertainment and literature as a distraction from their everyday pains and punishments. I remember being the kitchen with my parents, while they were watching CSI Miami as Insp. Horatio Cool Shades solved another grisly murder through science and arm-twisting. I said that I would like to see the bad guys "win" for once. They were honestly surprised and quite taken aback by that.

I've had other experiences similar to that, but it has always taught me that my likes and desires are probably considered weird, strange, and anti-social by the rest of society.

With the right query letter, you could probably get this published in a magazine or journal that goes for these kinds of short stories. Have you considered trying to get published?

>> No.10504681

The only writing I've ever seen on /jp/ that I actually liked were those short CYOAs Bern did when we got raided, back in the day.
And the erotic commentary that one guy did for some Monikano pictures in an abuse thread years ago, if that counts.
...and YWUiG, technically.

What? No. There's a huge difference between someone taking their own life, and having one person forcibly drown another - possibly the worst form of death - against her will.

Ha. No.

Someone taking their own life in spite of someone else trying to convince them not too, thus sending their would-be rescuer into bottomless depression is fine, but drowning someone is not? No way.

You have an odd sense of morality.

Also, I never said it was right, just that it makes an emotional and touching story.

>> No.10504886

>>10504868
It depends on the shock of the suicide and whether or not the other person comes to blame himself for the tragedy. Some are able to handle it better than others, and some would even react in anger to the act.

Such ambiguity does not exist to its fullest extent in the case of an execution, particularly a torturous one.
