Are those stairs in front of the shrine or somewhere to the side?

I'm getting confused here.

Also, what is that thing to the side?

I used to think it was storage, but the warehouse in SaBND didn't look like that, so...some living quarters that need to be separated from the main shrine? Maybe it's a bath? I dunno.

Kanako's ''summer shrine'' according to MoF's Reimu C ending as well as the mangas.

It's not.

That shrine is the size of a birdhouse.

No. To big, and I'm pretty sure Kanako's shrine isn't in back.

Okay, so that would mean that:

is Honden, and the thing with the donation box is Haiden.

But I still don't know what that weird small house to the side is supposed to be.

I need to re-read the manga and pay attention to the scenery at the shrine, I guess.

Man. Hakurei shrine is really...minimalist. Is that what people mean when they call it run-down?

More like we never see all of it.

There are at least 4 buildings.

Yes, that entirely unhelpful article is why I made this thread.

Still doesn't explain that side building.

Well, not like it matters, because I was more concerned with the stairs, but I'm just curious - it seems to be important enough to be included in multiple pictures, but it doesn't seem to be any of the parts listed in
>>10500363

Isn't there a specific shrine Hakurei shrine is based on? I seem to recall something like that, but it's not mentioned in the wiki article.

>> No.10500507

>>10500485
I think you read that the Hakurei Shrine in the outside is an abandoned old ruin. I don't know if there really is one.

>> No.10500512

>>10500507
No, aside from that.

Or maybe it was in some doujinshi whose author was talking about visiting specific shrine for reference? Can't remember.
