Good on the guy for getting his work licensed and making money, but it ruins the underdog/solo charm the freeware game had. Plus the higher-res/3D graphics and "improved" music don't quite fit the mood. It's like making a noir film in full color.

I just think Misery's story hasn't been fully told, it would be interesting to see things from her point of view. She was kind of roped into it, after all. It would also make for interesting gameplay, e.g. she could fly instead of boost and cast spells. Pixel could do the whole Sonic the Hedgehog thing and add areas to existing levels that are only accessible by Misery.

I played the original and bought the steam game. The added Curly mode was appreciated, but isn't fresh enough to motivate me to play it much.

Haven't seen anything of that fan copy game Underside though. I guess it just vaporized.
