I ask for your wisdom! So yesterday i finished katawa shoujo (fuck you Lilly), which i have to admit i loved as it is the first game i haven't skipped all the mind blabbers. It felt immersive and authentic , not just the obvious *pick the name of the girl you wanna fuck in the end*. I admit i haven't played more than 5 titles or so, but i really feel like picking up another cool title and there's where i need your help.

short: well written english (or atleast well translated) sim/ hentai/ novel game suggestions please (bonus if the cahracters wear legwear). Immense gratitude to all!

Ever 17. Mystery/suspense, with a dash of romance. <3 Sora

Muvluv Extra, Unlimited, and Alternative, in that order. It starts off as an ultra-slow and really stupidly banal harem style VN, but when you get to Unlimited shit starts getting real. Then Alternative comes around and you will get your ass blown away. Just trust me when I say it will feel boring at first. Think of the progression like this; Harem shit, then Mystery and World Building, then OH FUCK EVERYTHING IS GOING TO SHIT

Majikoi is a pretty popular comedy VN that is extremely fappable to boot. You've probably heard of it

Saya no Uta is a great horror/whatthefuckamIreading style VN

Planetarium is a really sweet and heartrending little shortstory of a VN. If you like crying bitch tears, you'll enjoy it, I suspect

Shikkoku no Sharnoth - What a Beautiful Tomorrow

It's a steampunk horror/mystery set in 1900s London. It's quite Lovecraftian in its execution, and the protagonist is pretty awesome overall without being an overpowered cockhead who gets all the bitches. The art style is really nice, the music is solid, and the writing is quite different and unorthodox.

I recommend reading Sekien no Inganock - What a Beautiful People. Same artist and writer, and it explains the world a bit better. Sharnoth hardly explains anything since the protagonist is just a normal girl forcibly dragged into the supernatural.

Depends on the VN. Majikoi is built on choose-your-own-path, for instance. Umineko is near 99.99% linear

If anyone can recommend something that hasn't been written so far and is in the line of:
-Has to have ero (at least the ending)
-Decent story (sadly that's subjective)

-Not linear, meaning you decide your character's moves to some extent
