hey /jp/, I am a newfag in VNs. I tried only 6 or so, most of them famous ones.
I'm currently playing sengoku rance but I think i'll just quit as this seems like a crappy romance of three kingdoms game with storyline.
is there any VNs you would recommend that I should play?
pic related - my first and my favorite VN
I also enjoyed steins gates, fsn, somewhat sharin no kuni, somewhat little busters. did not like cross channel.

Also before claiming that your fucking first VN is your favorite, read more of them. That's like watching Naruto and saying "holy shit this is the best anime ever I never watched others but this is the best one ever". And learn japanese if you truly become interested in reading VNs, or else it's almost impossible to truly understand how the medium works.

If it was good in Japanese, it'd be better in English after an experienced professional has their hands on the script.

Unfortunately, half of the translators are highschool dropouts who are trying to translate the scripts of VNs written by highschool dropouts. If only it was a perfect world.

I'm currently playing G Senjou no Maou. I just completed Tsubaki's route. It seems like a nice read for a drama VN. How does Sharin no Kuni stack up? I'm thinking of what I should prepare to read once I finish all of G Senjou
