Anyone else watch Initial D battle stage 2 when it was first released? If you did you might remember that it had a different soundtrack back then. But much to my surprise, I guess they gave the DVD releases a new OST, because when I was looking up initial D videos and was watching all the battle stage 2 races, all the songs were different.

but eurobeat is music of japanese origin. let me explain it to you in short - japs dig that crazy euro disco house of the 50s or whatever, steal it and put jap vocals over it, call it "eurobeat" to sound foreign

sort of like amerikans and calling everything japanese "jpop"

so, eurobeat is japanese culture and i am sure there are otakus for it (they even have bridge otakus come on man!!!!)

also i just checked youtube for some inital D mixes and they're been taken down for "copyright violation" :(
