MLK was a pervert and a communist (Or, at least, someone associating with lots and lots of communists.), not even a supporter of racial equality, he was in favour of stuff where black can get more jobs just because they are black and similarly themed things, his movements weren't peaceful either, there have been often reports of violence in his protests.
I wouldn't want to celebrate such a person, not when for his fault other /jp/sies are mistreated.
