How does .flow compare to Yume Nikki?
I've just played around about 5 mins of .flow and it seems to be decent so far, though I am sad I'm not able to play as Madotsuki.

In retrospect, I quite liked .flow

all the worlds/areas/effects/sounds/music/general atmosphere fitted well with each other.

As opposed to most other fan games, and YN itself, sometimes, where parts/ideas occasionally just seemed to be randomly tacked on, with little relevance

I get them all mixed up, if flow was the one with the white haired girl it was good but emphasized the horror too much in my opinion.

It's like yume nikki was a dream scape where you could delve into the dark recesses of the mind at your leisure where as flow felt like you were inevitably going to end up in a bunch of fuck.

.flow is smaller than YN. Also, what happened to Sabi is a lot more clearly defined than what happened to Mado. Of course, it's still up to speculation but everything is a bit more straightforward. Also, everything stops being creepy once you've explored it for the 50th time.
