Touhou Hisoutensoku is the third fighting game in the Touhou Project and like its predecessors, Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, Touhou Hisoutensoku is a collaboration between ZUN and Twilight Frontier. Due to that collaboration, its art was drawn by Alphes and the music was composed by U2 Akiyama, both from Twilight Frontier.

Before playing online please close any process that uses bandwith to avoid lag, also try to play with people close to your area if possible.

SokuRoll is a program designed to allow rollback netplay with Hisoutensoku version 1.10a. If you use SokuRoll, please say so in your post to avoid connection difficulties, as players without SokuRoll installed cannot connect to those with and vice versa.
Installation instructions are found in the SokuRoll_Readme.txt.

How many people usually play in these threads? I just tried playing Unthinkable Natural Law again but with a PS3 controller this time and it's great. Want to try playing online for the first time.

A few people on /JP/ who play. I haven't seen one of these threads in a while; but, I'm sure you can still find matches.

There are many other places to go to if you can't find anybody to play here. The #Hisouten IRC, the Soku Lobby. There might be a Hamacheese server and a steam group; however, I don't know how to get to any of them aside from IRC, and apparently Soku Lobby is now invite only(?).

I can do alright while training or against the CPU, but as son as I start trying to play online I forget my basic combos, that I have certain skills available to use, and even how to control my character properly (I move my thumb all over the d-pad whenever I try to do anything, which often results in me jumping everywhere).

I think I just wasn't born to play fighting games ;_;
