Any bed, mattress and pillow otaku here? I was thinking of buying a memory foam mattress since I've been using a spring mattress since forever and it has always taken a toll on my sleeping quality. Then again I also heard bad things about memory foam mattresses like they leak chemicals and cause nausea and headaches and cancer and stuff so I'm really unsure. Then there's the crazy people who spend $4000 on a chemical free memory foam mattress and call it a day, but that's something I can never afford due to my truHIKKI neet lifestyle.

What are your experiences with memory foam brands and how do you do your bedding materials?

No, it's a dirty lice ridden regular pillow which harbors trillions of bacteria.

What doesn't cause cancer these days? Just buy it, chances are; you aren't getting cancer.

>> No.10322189

I'm not so much worried about cancer as I am worried about the nausea and headaches. My mother had a memory foam pillow that she eventually stowed away because it "made her feel sick and gave her headaches" and when I tried it out myself I got headaches too. Getting headaches is not good.

30 dollar foldable camping cot

I would sleep on the floor if I didn't have fukken centipedes

Speaking of pillow otaku, I used to thrust (i say used to, but still do) my pillows for sexual stimulation.

I've been doing it before I knew about stroking and before my balls constructed semen.

that reminds me, I need a new mattress. the other one has guinness puke stains on it.

Get a hammock instead.

Just make sure you actually know how to sleep in one.

I used to have memory foam. It gave me cramps and back pain.

Something about your muscles straining to correct themselves, and locking up in a position that causes strain while the bed supports it. On normal begs they provide predictable amounts of resistance for your body to counter.

Also it did smell like chemicals and cause headaches.

So what do you use now?

>> No.10322552

I've been sleeping with a memory foam pillow for about ten years now. I haven't gotten cancer. My only annoyance is how hard the pillow is when it's cold. As it gets warmer it gets softer, but when it's cold it's almost like a brick or something.

It did have a weird smell when I first bought it, but it went away. I also have a memory foam bed topper but I got rid of it because for some reason it hurt my back when I laid on my stomach on it.

Anyone have a wool bed cover thing? are those worth it?

>> No.10322752

Get a memory foam pad and put it on a medium to soft mattress, or on top of a pillowtop mattress, and its just as good and nowhere near as expensive
